Dmitry Aleksandrovich Yemets is a children's and teenage science fiction writer.
Candidate of Philology. At the age of 22 he became the youngest member of the Writers' Union.

In the wake of “Pottermania,” Yemets’ books, which use motifs from J. Rowling’s works, became widely known: “Tanya Grotter and the Magic Double Bass,” “Tanya Grotter and the Vanishing Floor,” “Tanya Grotter and the Throne of the Ancient One.”
The Tanya Grotter series was positioned as a parody of the Harry Potter series, but was accused of plagiarism and banned from publication in several countries. After the third book about Tanya Grotter, the series ceased to be a “parody” and became an independent work.
The continuation and “addition” of Tanya Grotter is Methodius Buslaev (the plots of the series are related to each other). Also in the spring of 2010, the first book of the ShNyr series was published. While reading, you get the impression that you are in this world, feeling all the emotions of the character, traveling with him...
For those who think that "Tanya Grotter" is a parody of "Harry Potter" - they are very mistaken... The first book is a little similar, but then the plot lines are completely divergent.
