1. RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

The maximum number of points that an OGE participant can receive for completing the entire examination work is 39 points.

2. MATHEMATICS

The maximum number of points that an OGE participant can receive for completing the entire examination work is 32 points. Of these, for completing assignments in the Algebra module - 20 points, and in the Geometry module - 12 points.

The recommended minimum result for completing the examination work is 8 points, scored in total for completing tasks in both modules, provided that at least 2 points of these were obtained in the Geometry module.

* The exam results can be used when admitting students to specialized classes for training in educational programs of secondary general education.

The guideline for selection into specialized classes can be indicators whose lower limits correspond to the following primary scores:

• for a natural science profile: 18 points, of which at least 6 in geometry;
• for the economic profile: 18 points, of which at least 5 in geometry;
• for the physics and mathematics profile: 19 points, of which at least 7 in geometry.

3. PHYSICS

The maximum number of points that an OGE participant can receive for completing the entire examination work is 40 points.

4. CHEMISTRY

The transfer of Unified State Examination points is made after the primary result is calculated; based on the approved scale, it is converted into test scores.

They play an important role when entering a university and are recorded in the exam certificate.

Those who are finishing 11th grade and preparing to enter a university are especially interested in learning how the Unified State Exam score is translated.

Hundreds of thousands of students undergo this procedure every year. To obtain a certificate, it is enough to pass only two subjects - mathematics and Russian language.

The remaining subjects - and there are 14 in total - are taken on a voluntary basis, depending on the chosen university.

In order for the results to be displayed in the certificate, the graduate must score more than the established minimum.

How are the Unified State Exam results assessed?

The exam results are assessed by a commission and translated into a 100-point system.

There is an algorithm for converting these amounts into more familiar estimates. This method has not been officially used since 2009.

But if you wish, you can familiarize yourself with the scale for converting Unified State Examination grades.

The results are assessed in two stages:

• Based on the number of tasks completed, the student is given a primary score. It consists of the sum for all tasks completed correctly;
• Next, the primary Unified State Exam scores are converted to test scores. This figure is recorded in the Unified State Examination certificate and plays an important role for admission to a university. Below is a translation table for the math exam.

Important: The scale was developed taking into account the complexity of the tasks.

What is the minimum score?

To receive a Unified State Exam certificate, a student must score above the established minimum limit in Russian language and mathematics.

It is determined annually for each individual subject. In fact, the minimum grade is the equivalent of a C.

This result reflects that the student has satisfactorily mastered the curriculum.

Minimum score:

1. Determines the issuance of a certificate of passing the Unified State Exam.
2. It is established for each subject annually after passing the exam and before the results are published.

At the end of 2016, to obtain a certificate it was necessary to obtain at least 36 test points in the Russian language.

In mathematics this limit is 3, and in the specialized level - 27.

The difference between primary scores and test scores

When assessing the results of passing the exam, the primary amount is first set. Then these USE 2017 scores are converted into test scores.

They are determined on a 100-point scale. This score will appear on the Unified State Examination certificate if it is higher than the minimum.

When calculating points, the algorithm is as follows:

1. For each correctly completed task, one or more points are awarded.
2. At the end, the amount for all the work is calculated.
3. The primary Unified State Exam scores are being translated.

Regarding test scores, they are calculated on a 100-point system. But the amount of primary may differ for different items.

For example, in mathematics you can get 30 initial points, and for foreign languages ​​this limit is 80.

The assessment of the task depends on its complexity. For tasks in Part B, one primary point is awarded for the correct answer.

For part C, there are several options: for tasks 1 and 2, 2 primary points are awarded; the correct answer to question 3 and 4 immediately gives 3, and tasks 5 and 6 will add 4 points to the student’s result.

Unified State Exam scores and grades

Although there is an approximate scale for converting Unified State Exam scores into grades that are familiar to all students, starting from 2009 this system has not been used.

The refusal to convert to grades is due to the fact that the sum of points does not affect the indicator in the certificate. It is recorded in a separate certificate.

If a student scores less than the minimum in one of the required subjects, he will not be issued a certificate or certificate.

If this is a subject that is taken on a voluntary basis, the result simply will not be counted anywhere.

If the exam results result in an unsatisfactory grade, what should I do? It all depends on what subject.

1. If the number of points scored is below the minimum in mathematics or in the Russian language, you can retake the exam in the same year on one of the reserve days.
2. When an unsatisfactory grade is received in both subjects at once, a retake is possible only the next year.
3. If you fail to score enough points in an optional subject, you can only retake the exam next year. An unsatisfactory result will not be reflected in any document. In fact, everything will look as if the graduate did not take this exam at all.

Depending on the subject, retaking is possible either in the same year on reserve days or in the next year.

Thus, if a student fails Basic Level Mathematics, he or she can take advantage of reserve days.

And if a low grade was obtained based on the results of a profile level, a retake will be possible only after a year.

What to do if a graduate does not agree with the assessment

If a graduate is confident that his work deserves a higher grade, he has the right to appeal.

In such a situation, the work will be reconsidered by the conflict commission.

There are two possible outcomes. When a grade appears to be too low, the student can either have points added or deducted.

Important: According to the results of the Unified State Examination in 2010, of all the appeals filed, the third part was satisfied.

The first two parts of the exam are tested without human intervention. The possibility of errors cannot be ruled out.

This may be due to illegible handwriting and similar circumstances.

If it appears that the grade is too low, students will appeal.

What does the exam consist of?

The general text of the task consists of three parts.

1. Part A is designed as a test. Of the four proposed answer options, the graduate must choose one correct one.
2. In Part B, the following types of tasks are possible: writing a one-word answer, choosing several correct options, or establishing correspondences.
3. In Part C, the student is asked to give a detailed answer to the question.

Depending on the type of task, the verification process differs. The first two parts are checked automatically. Answers are scanned by the system and scored.

This process takes place without human intervention. Upon completion of the test, the results are sent to the testing center located in Moscow.

Part C is assessed by two independent experts. If the results coincide, this total is displayed.

If a minor discrepancy is found after evaluation, the average result is displayed.

If there is noticeable inconsistency, a third specialist is appointed.

After the verification is completed, all data is sent to a single testing center. There they are processed and recorded in the database.

From there they are sent to schools where the exam was held.

How Unified State Exam results affect university admission

In order to apply for admission to a university, graduates need to pass the Unified State Exam.

In total, you can apply to 5 universities, in each of them no more than three specialties.

The application is prepared in writing and delivered in person or sent by mail.

If the second option is chosen, you will need to issue a registered letter with a list of the attachments, as well as a receipt.

To find out whether the application was approved, you need to go to the official website of the university.

When the acceptance of documents is completed, a list of those applying for enrollment is posted there. Their results of passing the Unified State Exam are also given there.

Enrollment takes place in two waves.

1. When the first list is published, several days are allotted for applicants to provide the originals of their documents (in most cases they send copies).
2. If the deadline for submitting documents has expired, but there are still free places, a second list is prepared.

To enroll in a university, you will need the following package of documents:

• application requesting admission;
• certified copies of the certificate and identity document;
• a form with a list of points scored based on the Unified State Examination results;
• photographs (their size and number are established by the university rules).

The transfer of Unified State Exam points in 2017 is carried out according to the same system as in previous years.

To pass the exam, you must score at least the minimum number of points, which is established for each subject annually.

To receive a certificate and a certificate with the results of the Unified State Exam, you need to exceed this limit in compulsory subjects.

How to convert primary scores into test USE 2015 in Russian language

The 2018 Unified State Exam campaign is coming to an end in Russia, and even the second wave of exams is coming to an end. However, checking exams takes time, and at the moment graduates are waiting for the latest results of the Unified State Exam of the first wave. Some people already realize that they did not score enough points - much less than the student expected before taking the exams. Some people haven’t received all the results and are worried about what to do if there aren’t enough points. What if I didn’t get the required points on the Unified State Exam, is it possible to enter the institute, what other options remain for the applicant in 2018.

What do you mean you didn't get the required points?

First of all, it’s worth, of course, understanding what “few points for the Unified State Exam” means. Some of the graduates studied excellently all their lives and hoped for at least 80-90 points for each Unified State Exam, scored an average of 77 and considered that life was over. And someone has completely failed the Russian language or mathematics and risks being left without a certificate of education as such, even before college here at all.

Two situations can be considered a minor disaster:

• the student was unable to pass one of the mandatory exams (Russian language or mathematics) and risks being left without an education document,
• The student did not achieve the minimum Unified State Exam scores set by Rosobrnadzor (we have a table of minimum scores for each Unified State Exam on our website earlier).

The way out of the first situation is to retake. At the moment, those schoolchildren who were unable to pass the mandatory Unified State Exam in 2018 in the first wave know about this and even managed to retake the exams in the additional stage of the Unified State Exam. The results of these Unified State Examinations will come on July 10-11.

If, based on the results of retaking the mandatory Unified State Examination, a graduate gains enough points, and his Unified State Examination results for his choice are in perfect order, he can try to enroll in a university in the same year. If the exams are failed again, retaking is possible only in September. Of course, you can forget about the institute, at least in 2018.

If a graduate has successfully completed the mandatory Unified State Exam, but failed in one of the elective exams, and the number of points scored is below the minimum, he will not be able to enter the institute. Universities simply do not have the right to admit applicants if they provide USE results below the minimum threshold from Rosobrnadzor. Even for paid training.

The first option is to enroll in a year.

There is nothing wrong with this option. Giving up at the first small difficulty, giving up higher education because of a minor failure, is not the best start to adulthood. Even if a student is accustomed to having everything easily and simply, it’s time to learn how to achieve his goal.

A graduate needs to understand that missing a year is not a big deal at all. It is better to receive a higher education diploma a year later than not to have one at all. Unless, of course, it really is that important.

What you do during this year is up to you to decide depending on the situation. Most likely, young people are taking the risk of joining the army, and it will be a little easier for girls.

But the main thing you need to do this year, if you are not in the army, is to prepare diligently for retaking the Unified State Exam. The results of the exams that suit you will be valid for four years, so you can focus on a problematic subject, in which the Unified State Exam was passed with too low scores.

Remember that graduates of previous years take the Unified State Exam earlier than the main wave - in the spring. So you will have less than one year to prepare.

The second option is to enroll in a paid department at the institute

This is a way out for those who scored few points on the Unified State Exam, but still more than the minimum that closes the way to universities.

If all options for enrolling on a budget are impossible or uninteresting, enroll in a paid department. Of course, there must be financial opportunities for this. You may have to study and work at the same time.

The third way out is to get a secondary specialized education

This solution is suitable for everyone. Even if you failed both mandatory Unified State Examinations and retaking it is impossible (and if you fail to pass two mandatory Unified State Examinations at once, this is exactly the situation), you can always use your ninth grade certificate.

With this certificate you can enter a college, technical school or other secondary educational institution. We advise you to pay attention to colleges at universities. Quite often, such colleges associated with institutes or universities are the suppliers of applicants for them.

Whether a college or technical school operates at a university or on its own, in any case, the road to a university upon completion is not closed to you.

Whatever the situation you find yourself in and how hopeless it may seem to you, in fact, if you set yourself the goal of getting a higher education, you will get it. And it remains to be seen which university graduate will achieve greater success - an excellent student who is used to getting everything easily or one who, by the time he received his diploma, has learned to overcome life’s difficulties.

Summer time has come. For some, these are warm days, a long-awaited vacation or an upcoming session, but for graduates this is the first step into a new, unknown world. And the first step into the adult world is the Unified State Exam. Every student, regardless of their level of knowledge, puts a lot of effort and diligently prepares for the upcoming exams. Can be retaken

If the number of points scored does not allow you to enter the desired university, the exam can be taken again. You can retake the elective exam next year, but in the meantime, take a mental rest and learn the subject better so as not to repeat past mistakes.

But mandatory exams can be retaken in an additional period of the same year. Reserve days for repeated attempts are indicated in the Unified State Exam calendar. If the subject was not passed the second time, the last opportunity to retake the course will be in the fall of 2018.

You can only retake one of the required subjects. If both Russian and mathematics were not passed, you are deprived of the right to retake the test.

You can go to college

If things are really bad with the Unified State Exam, you can go to college at the institute. You only need to have a certificate and a desire to learn the desired profession. Most colleges give students the opportunity to enroll directly into the second year of college after graduation.

Make peace with your points

If the scores turned out to be not quite low, but simply not what you expected, you should accept it (unless, of course, you want to spend another year preparing - which is also possible). Remember that in addition to the university and faculty you have chosen, there are other educational institutions and areas. Additionally, consider evening, part-time, or paid study options. If something happens, you can always transfer.

Go to work

If it doesn’t work out with admission immediately after university, then that’s not a problem. You can go to work. There are two options here. Either get a job in a profession that interests you (most likely, it will be a low-paid or unpaid internship), or go into the service sector - as a waiter, a store consultant, and so on.

One way or another, don't despair. We make mistakes, but we also learn from them. They help us grow up and rethink something important. It is by overcoming obstacles that we become more resilient and wiser.

The principle of calculating success in passing the unified state exam assumes that the test taker must demonstrate a high, average or sufficient level of knowledge, corresponding to grades “5”, “4” and “3” on the school scale.
