The secret to an easy life by James Mangan. Divorce of natural functions from consciousness

James T. Mangan (1896-1970) was a best-selling self-help author.

Modern world I am well aware of the effect of mantras or affirmations on our subconscious, but there is a much simpler method of internal transformation - the use of switch words according to the method of J.T. Mangan.

In his book “The Secret of an Easy Life. How to live without problems" (“The Secret of Perfect Living”) he created psychological system. The energy of password words is a kind of “ordinary miracle” that allows ordinary human life turn it into “paradise on Earth.”

One single word will help not only find a lost item or new friends, but also restore health or even keep you from taking a fatal step. Eternal youth, which accompanies an easy life, will no longer be an unattainable ideal.

The secret to an easy life. How to live without problems

Preface

The system I called " easy life”, was the result of research that lasted 45 years, the fruit of many years of work with people who have experienced various life difficulties. What is its essence?

An easy life is achievable if you focus completely on yourself with the goal of acquiring personal happiness. This is possible if you manage to establish a connection between your consciousness and subconscious. Much has already been written about this connection, even more has been said, but too little has been done to make it truly possible. In my research into consciousness, my primary focus has been on finding a practical method for reuniting these two parts of our personality. As a result, the technique was discovered, which I present to your attention.

The Easy Living System is based on four specific principles and works when the appropriate words and phrases are used. These words are a kind of keys that unlock the doors of the subconscious. As a result, the consciousness begins to catch and understand the signals given by the subconscious. Supporting the subconscious not only allows us to harmonize our inner life, creating mental comfort, but also leads to the instant fulfillment of our desires.

For example, many of us often suffer from headaches. An aspirin tablet relieves it for a while, but is not able to defeat it once and for all. The fact is that a simple pill cannot eliminate the cause of pain. And how we would like to find a remedy that, as if by magic, frees us from an illness... Don’t we dream of a state in which it is enough to say just one word for the pain to disappear? But this word does exist, and this book tells you how to use it.

Let's take another example. Let's say you've lost your favorite thing, and the more you look for it, the more clearly you feel that you'll never find it. But - lo and behold! You can allow yourself to relax and use a certain word to let your inner self lead you to the lost item.

These are just two simple examples of what the Easy Living System can do for you. In fact, its possibilities are much wider - you are able to achieve everything you want. So, you can easily:

Get rid of all your fears

Overcome the blues and despair,

Get to know yourself

Better understand people

Set goals and achieve them,

Earn money and achieve success,

Free yourself from bad habits

Cope with all ailments, gain health,

Discover previously unknown abilities in yourself,

Finally become happy man, not susceptible to any blows of fate.

This list does not exhaust all the achievements of the easy life system. There are many more of them and they are all described in this book. Why not bring this phenomenon to life? Why not make the Easy Living System your daily practice?

New teaching: “Press the button”

Have there ever been days in your life when everything went wrong? For sure! At such moments, it feels as if your soul is being broken into two halves. One half fights with the other, doing everything to nullify the efforts of its rival...

Here is the story of a shoe salesman who experienced something similar.

Shoe salesman quoting Goethe

The seller is full of enthusiasm. The first shoe is already on, it's time for the second. Now the buyer will see for himself how convenient they are. So, the second one... But where the hell did the shoehorn go?!

Anxiety turns to panic. The seller frantically looks around - a second ago he was holding it in his hand... The client looks at him indifferently and calmly asks: “Are you kidding yourself?” The seller turns around, sees a shoehorn and bursts out laughing: “Really! Damn it, this is really true... But the great Goethe said it better: “Two souls live in my chest, one would be glad to kill the other.”

One of the souls - cunning as a fox and dexterous as a card sharper - hid a spoon under his very nose. Yes, we often create truly hellish stories for ourselves.

However, sometimes it happens that everything goes like clockwork. We act quickly and deftly. We take advantage of every opportunity that comes our way. And nothing seems to be able to stop us. It may seem that the internal struggle is already over. We feel so much power within ourselves. We are incredibly strong!

Fighting the curtains

Your hand reaches for the curtain. You just need to close it. A habitual gesture, but for some reason you are pulling the wrong cord... You do this every day, but today you just can’t perform a simple action - close the curtains. Maybe you need to train more often?.. Or it’s better to concentrate... An inner voice insistently sounds in your head: “Hey, you redneck! It's me who makes you make mistakes. And I’m doing this to show you that you are not at all as smart and resourceful as you think!” And then doubt creeps into your soul: this eternal mocker, the worst part of your soul, has a better memory and mind than the other - the conscious part...

Lost is nearby

Every day you spend a lot of time looking for things that you accidentally lost or simply put in the wrong place. You can't find what's right under your nose. So old Bill, the talker and favorite of the whole house where I live, suddenly lost the desire to chat with his friends. And for what reason? Suddenly he forgot the names of all his old friends.

Catastrophe! No wonder Bill was upset and sad. But he still has hope. Each of us - young or old - has moments in life when, instead of the names of old friends, black holes form in our heads. You try your best to follow the trail of this name, but it quickly sinks into oblivion. You seem to know it, but you are not able to pronounce it...

The shoe salesman knew very well the place where he put the spoon, but he could not realize it. A housewife looking for scissors, a husband who has lost his glasses, know where they are. But something in themselves, some part of their own “I” paralyzes their consciousness.

Our desires and fears lead us into traps that threaten our peace of mind. If I had to describe human life in one phrase, it would be: “The eternal war of two souls in one human body.”

New teaching, or Conversation with a taxi driver

One day I was taking a taxi from New York's Idlewild Airport to downtown. Since local taxi drivers are unusually know-it-all and cynical, I decided to talk to my driver about the new principles of easy living. And I told him about the shoe salesman.

Both souls described by Goethe should unite, but do not want to. The stronger one, often called the subconscious mind (in fact, it is greater than the subconscious mind), controls the vast majority of our life experience. But the weakest one, the one we call consciousness, is like a simple official who constantly gives orders to the subconscious, the true director of the enterprise. That's why they are rarely unanimous. If it were otherwise, our life on earth would turn into paradise.

I told the taxi driver the theory of “contactors”—one-syllable passwords that can set powerful mechanisms in motion if only we truly believe in them. Factory personal experience- everything I do, feel, think and dream about is something like a huge system of automata that, at our first request, can fulfill any desire or conquer fear. The favorite and shortest password of Tom Watson, the father of IBM computers, was the word “think.” Different desires and fears require different passwords, which can activate a person's defense mechanisms.

The driver, naturally, demanded specific examples. I easily gave him a dozen cases from my life.

Lost Key

One such episode occurred last week in Chicago. A young clerk, a supporter of the philosophy of an easy life, went to the hairdresser early in the morning. Approaching his car, he suddenly clearly heard the sound of a falling key. It was the garage key that fell out of the unbuttoned wallet on his belt. He has gone! Fussy crawling on the concrete floor did not bring any results.

Our hero took the car out of the garage and continued the search. He even checked the cuffs of his trousers, but there was nothing there either. However, he heard the sound of a key falling to the floor! “We need to go to the hairdresser,” he thought. - I'll look for it when I get back. It must be in the garage somewhere."

At the hairdresser's, the young man again remembered the mysterious disappearance. The disappearance of the key was completely inappropriate. "Maybe I should use easy method life, he suddenly thought. - Say: "gain"– and see what comes of it?” He said the password and immediately heard the sound of an object falling to the ground. I looked at the concrete and saw... my key, which I had lost in the garage a few minutes ago.

The energy of password words is a kind of “ordinary miracle” that allows ordinary human life to be transformed into “heaven on Earth.” The modern world is well aware of the impact of mantras or affirmations on our subconscious, but there is a much simpler method of internal transformation - the use of switch words according to the J. Angan method.

One single word will help not only find a lost item or new friends, but also restore health or even keep you from taking a fatal step. Eternal youth, which accompanies an easy life, will no longer be an unattainable ideal. You will receive everything that you have been striving for for many years - success, luck, happiness.

Don't believe me? Try it yourself, and the great joy of an easy life will become your everyday life.

James Mangan. Live without problems: The secret to an easy life

What is the secret to an easy life?

Creation of the system I called easy life, was only possible thanks to forty-five years of intense research and thousands of experiences working with people in different life situations. So what is this system, this easy life? It is a state of complete concentration on oneself, a union of consciousness and subconscious with the aim of ensuring the happiness of the individual. And although much has been written and said about this union, little, however, has been done to make it more tangible. In my research into the state of consciousness, I concentrated primarily on finding a practical method of connecting the conscious mind with the subconscious and discovered a technique that made this connection possible. Its implementation requires only the adoption of four simple principles and the use of appropriate words and phrases. They are a means by which the conscious mind can access the subconscious and receive signals from it. Thanks to mottos, consciousness gains the support of the subconscious, simultaneously creating internal harmony, leading to instant results desired by a person. For example: how often do you get headaches? An aspirin tablet will help you get rid of pain for a while, but without reaching the cause of the pain, it will not help you completely overcome it. Wouldn't you like to reach a state in which you only have to say one word for the pain to immediately disappear? This word exists, and Part 9 of this book explains in detail how to use it. Or, for example, you lost your favorite thing. The more you look for her, the more you feel that you will never find her. But with the help of a certain word, you will be able to relax and allow your inner self to lead you to the lost thing. This is discussed in the eighth part.

These are just two examples of what the “easy life” can do for you. You can do almost whatever you want with it.

1) get rid of all your fears,

2) learn to relax,

4) fight blues and despair,

5) know yourself,

6) understand people better,

7) set goals for yourself and achieve them,

8) make money and achieve success,

9) get rid of bad habits,

10) cope with all ailments, gaining health,

11) discover previously unknown abilities in yourself,

12) be a constantly happy person, unyielding to any blows of fate.

This list does not exhaust the possibilities of an easy life; much more is described in this book. Why not bring this phenomenon to life? Make easy living an integral part of your life.

1. New teaching: “Press the button”

Have there ever been days in your life when everything went wrong? For sure! Didn’t it seem to you then that your soul consisted of two parts that seemed to be fighting each other? One does everything to nullify the creative efforts of the other. Here is an example of a shoe seller.

Shoe salesman quoting Goethe

The seller is full of energy. The first shoe is on, now the second. And the client will see for himself how convenient they are. But... the second... there is a shoe, but where the hell did the spoon go? Anxiety turns to panic. The seller frantically looks around. After all, he was holding it in his hand a second ago! The client looks indifferently at the puzzled seller. “Are you making fun of yourself,” he asks in a calm voice. The salesman turns around and bursts out laughing: “It’s true. Damn it, it's really true! But Goethe - greatest poet- said it better: “Two souls live in my chest, one would be glad to kill the other.” And it was one of these souls, cunning like a fox and dexterous like a card sharper, who hid the spoon under his very nose. Oh, yes, we often make jokes on ourselves, and hellish ones at that. However, sometimes it happens that everything goes like clockwork. We act quickly and deftly. We take advantage of every opportunity that comes our way. And it seems that nothing can stop us. It may seem that the internal struggle is already over. We feel so much strength within ourselves. We are very strong!

Fighting the curtains

Wanting to draw the curtains, at least, seven times you pull the wrong cord. But you perform this action every day. You should probably pull the right cord more often. Meanwhile, when the hand again reaches for the wrong lace, something tells us in our soul: “Listen, hillbilly, I’m making you make mistakes, and I’m doing this to show you that you are not at all as smart and capable as you Seems". And then you get the feeling that this eternal mocker, the worst part of your soul, has a better memory and mind than the other - the conscious part.

Lost, but here it is, nearby

Every day you waste a lot of time searching for items that you have lost or simply misplaced. You cannot find them, although they are somewhere nearby. Old Bill, the chatterbox and favorite of the neighbors in the house where I live, suddenly lost the desire to chat with his friends. And for what reason? Here's why: suddenly he forgot the names of all his old friends.

Catastrophe! It’s not surprising that Bill was very upset and sad. But he still has hope. Each of us - young or old - has moments in life when, instead of the names of old friends, black holes appear in our heads. The more you try to get even a trace of this name, the deeper it sinks into oblivion. You know that you know it, but you are not able to pronounce it. The shoe salesman knew very well the place where he had placed the spoon, but could not recognize it. A housewife looking for scissors, a husband looking for glasses, know where they are, but something in themselves, some part of their own Self, paralyzes their consciousness. Every desire and every fear is accompanied by traps that threaten the peace of mind. If I wanted to characterize human life in one phrase, it would sound like this: “The eternal war of two souls in one human body.”

New teaching: “Press the button!”

One day I was taking a taxi from Idlewild Airport to New York to the city center. Since taxi drivers in this city are unusually omniscient and cynical, I decided to talk to the driver about the new principles of an easy life. I told him about the shoe salesman. The two souls described by Goethe must unite. But they don't want it. That which is larger and stronger, often called the subconscious (in fact, it is greater than the subconscious) controls the vast majority of our life experience. But the smaller and weaker one, the one we call consciousness, seems to be a simple official, but she constantly gives orders to the subconscious - the true director of the enterprise. This is why both souls are rarely of one mind as they should be. If it were otherwise, our life on earth would already be a heavenly life.

Contactor theory

I told him the theory of contactors - single-syllable passwords that can set in motion powerful mechanisms, if only they are supplemented and strengthened by desire and faith. The mechanism of personal experience, everything I do, what I feel, what I think about and what I dream about, all this in the smallest detail resembles a huge system of automata that, at the first request, can fulfill any of our desires or overcome any fear. The favorite and shortest one-word password of Tom Watson, the father of IBM computers, was the word “Think!” Different desires and different fears require different passwords, which can trigger a person’s defense mechanisms. The driver, naturally, demanded specific examples, of which I could give him dozens.

One such incident occurred just a week ago in Chicago. A young man working in a company, a supporter of the philosophy of an easy life, went to the hairdresser early in the morning. As he approached the car, he heard the distinct sound of a falling key. It turned out that the zipper in the wallet on the belt had come undone and the key to the garage had fallen out. Yes, yes, it's gone. A quick search on the concrete floor yielded no results. Our hero drove the car out of the garage, after which he continued his search.
