Occupation test online: Which profession to choose? Which university is better for girls to enter? On whom to go to study after 11 girls.

The closer the end of school, the more questions high school students have about where to go to study. According to statistics, 80% of university graduates do not work in their specialty. This is associated with a misconception about the profession or with uncertainty in one's abilities and knowledge. How to discover talent, where to go, finally, how to answer the question: what professions to choose after grade 11?

The first thing you must remember is that if thoughts are not directed towards a goal, then they are chaotic. Without a goal, you act differently every day, not knowing what to strive for. To find out what profession to choose and where to go to study, first decide what goal you are striving for.

Answer the questions. What is your meaning of life? What idea will you give to this world? What fruits will you reap in old age? Where are your steps going? - Write down the answers. Now think about what profession would help you realize your dream. It should not interfere with your goal or go along with it. It should contribute to its implementation. And remember, you don't have to do everything, you have to do the most important thing.

We bring to your attention a list of professions after grade 11 that are in demand in the labor market. What profession to choose and where to enter is up to you.

Accountant

Figures, bills, documents - and so on for eight hours every day. What's more boring? - So think those who are not familiar with this profession. And only the accountants themselves know that their work is a gambling quiz show, during which there is no time to be bored.

Accounting is not only the calculation of salaries, vacation pay and sick leave, but also a hundred other issues. Oddly enough, the first to answer them are not the heads of firms, but accountants. They translate the processes taking place in the company into the language of numbers. Knowing where the company's finances go is the prerogative of the accounting department.

The accountant needs to select and collect financial related information, systematize it and analyze it. Without this painstaking work, a crisis will quickly come in the company.

In this path, you can choose several areas of activity. On the one hand, this is the “position” of an artist with a boundless flight of fancy. On the other hand, an engineer, a mechanic - that is, a person familiar with the sewer or porch device.

Architects are people who build residential and administrative buildings. There are also industrial architects. There are architects who are engaged in landscape design.

Qualities that an architect possesses:

  • Creative skills,
  • developed spatial thinking,
  • self control,
  • realism.

Engineer

In Soviet times, it was in great demand, so many wanted to go to study as "techies". Half of the schoolchildren in the class, when asked what your father works for, answered with the term "engineer". After perestroika, the demand for technical specialties fell sharply. There was a desire to go to study at economic, law and other humanitarian faculties. However, today the profession of an engineer has become in demand again. And the salaries of those "techies" are constantly growing. So there is a demand!

Remember that engineers work in all areas of production. You can enroll as a civil engineer, communications engineer, space or food technology engineer. Without engineers, you won’t fly anywhere and you won’t go anywhere!

And here are the qualities that an engineer has:

  • interest in the operation of technical devices,
  • developed visual logic,
  • attentiveness,
  • discipline.

So where to go, who to ask? - We hope that this article will help with the choice of a profession after 11 classes of school. Become a professional in the path you choose - and success is guaranteed to you. Moreover, success, which can be expressed not only by external brilliance and the thickness of the wallet, but also by a deep sense of inner satisfaction and pride. Although the thickness of the wallet for any profession is very good.

It is sometimes very difficult for 11th graders to choose a profession, and with it a place of further study. Some students decide where to go to study long before graduation, but not everyone understands what they want to do in the future.

Choose direction

Ideally, by the 10th grade, the student should know what subjects he likes, which ones he will choose for in-depth preparation for the Unified State Exam, and in which direction he will have to study in the future. Even if he has not yet decided on the exact specialty and faculty, he should have the chosen direction. In total, several such areas can be noted: physical and mathematical, natural sciences, humanitarian, creative. As a rule, already from high school it becomes clear which subjects the child is better at: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, literature or languages. There are many options here, but the profile of the student - “techie” or “humanist”, is difficult to confuse with something. Even if all the subjects are given well, it is possible to identify those that the student considers his favorite, and already rely on them when choosing a future profession.

Choosing an educational institution

After it is not necessary to enter a university, many students go to technical schools and colleges. The specialties of secondary vocational education are in demand today more than ever, there is not enough such personnel. Therefore, in order not to remain a specialist in the future with a university diploma, but without a job, many former school students decide to first get a working specialty and only then - a higher education. By the way, there is no need to be afraid of losing extra years in such studies: after graduating from college, you can enroll in an abbreviated university program in your specialty. Especially useful advice to go to college or technical school will be for those students in grade 11 who did not pass the exam very well and do not want to spend their parents' money on paid education.

Those who go to university should think carefully about what specialty to enter. Popular faculties, such as economics, law, design, prepare a huge number of personnel. Hundreds of students apply for them every year, a huge competition is formed, and there are not enough budget places even for excellent students. As a result, many applicants end up in a paid department, where they give a lot of money for education, which subsequently will not pay for itself. There is a saturation of specialists of this profile in the labor market. But today there are not enough technical specialists - engineers of different directions. Therefore, when choosing a profession, one should look not at the prestige of the specialty, but at the real needs of the market and at the abilities and desires of each individual applicant. This is what will later help you find a job according to your profile and do it with pleasure.

Most ratings offer girls to become hairdressers, flight attendants, sales assistants, and. This information is especially dangerous when choosing a profession, when a 9th or 11th grade graduate with unformed priorities is plunged into a swamp of stereotypes. It is dangerous not because these professions are not as good as the others - a well-known manicurist can earn hundreds of thousands of rubles a month. It is dangerous precisely because of stereotypical thinking, which drives ambitions and aspirations into a rather strange framework.

Let's put the remnants of the past aside and talk about what profession a girl should choose in accordance with her desires, aspirations and abilities.

What to consider when choosing a profession

With their desires, true information about the profession and the realities of the surrounding reality. If you really love something and want to dedicate your life to it, if you are sure that you won’t “burn out” in a couple of years, then act. If in doubt, try to choose 4-5 professions that are most interesting to you. Discard the stereotypes, the instructions of parents and teachers - this is only your choice and you are responsible for it.

Try to collect as much information as possible about each chosen profession. Specify the terms of reference of a specialist, read the reviews of people who are already working - find out about the real pros and cons.

Next, try this profession on the region in which you are going to live. Look for educational institutions where you can get a specialty, pay attention to potential institutions and companies in which you would like to work. Consider the choice from all points of view - only in this case it will be balanced and, possibly, correct.

The highest paid professions for girls

Let's make a reservation that we are talking about averages. A top-level stylist can earn 10-20 times more than an experienced surgeon. But this is the exception that proves the rule. If we compare average salaries, then they are highest in the IT industry.

Here, the most popular professions for girls are the following specialties:

  • Web Designer;
  • Timlid;
  • Frontend developer;
  • Sales Manager;
  • Tester.

Jobs with a good salary can be found in the field of cosmetology, advertising and marketing, medicine and pharmaceuticals. Huge money revolves in the beauty industry, but there is a very uneven distribution. Two stylists with the same qualifications can receive radically different salaries, for example, 25 and 250 thousand rubles a month - a lot depends on the professional brand, region and place of work, on the positioning of their work. The key components of a high salary are the right choice, good education and experience.

In the choice, try to invest not only reasoning about the prospects, but also your own desires. It is equally difficult to do a low-paying job you love and a high-paying job you hate.

It is difficult to achieve success in a profession that you hate with all your heart. Try to find among the lists of popular and promising specialties exactly the one that you are really interested in. Choose a good university or college for a quality education. Do not be afraid to change jobs and specializations - this is the only way to really achieve success.

Professions for girls after grade 9

After the 9th grade, you can enter a secondary specialized educational institution (school, college, technical school), or a lyceum (or the same college) at any university. In the second case, it will be easier to continue education, having received certain benefits upon admission. However, the very fact of leaving school after the 9th grade is often associated with the desire to get a secondary education.

The most popular specialties among girls are:

  • Teacher.
  • Hair stylist.
  • Nurse.
  • Cook.
  • Pharmacist.

Other options may be considered. For example, to enter a pedagogical college in the direction of "physical culture", then undergo specialized training and qualify as a fitness trainer - a sought-after, relevant and often well-paid profession. You can also continue your education, no matter what educational institution you graduate from. If, after graduating from a college or technical school, you understand that you have chosen the wrong profession or want to get a higher education, feel free to enter a university. However, remember that not all accelerated programs will be available to you - only profile ones.

Professions for girls after grade 11

After 11th grade, you can enroll in a graduate or post-secondary education program at any school that you qualify for. With sufficient command of the language, you can try to apply to foreign universities, but in practice it is easier to enter there for master's programs after completing 4 years of study at a Russian educational institution.

As for the profession, you can choose any specialty from the list above, or pay attention to traditional “solutions”: a lawyer, an economist, a psychologist, an accountant, and so on. Increasingly, girls are choosing the profession of managers and HR managers, who until recently were not even always present in large companies. Today, all reputable organizations are aware of the need to ensure responsible recruitment and offer jobs with decent salaries and a large amount of work.

Remember that completing grade 11 is a conditional advantage. You can get a free higher education, and this opportunity is worth taking advantage of.

However, in the process of choosing a profession, you should not be guided only by salary: consider a set of indicators, listen to your own desires. It is very important to make an informed decision. It's okay if you make a mistake. But it is worth doing everything possible to understand your desires, take responsibility and not waste 4 years on training that you do not need.

Conclusion

When choosing a profession, girls are often guided by stereotypes. Obscure "traditions" force them to choose between a hairdresser, makeup artist, flight attendant and sales consultant. Well, if you have always dreamed of exactly one of these professions. And if not? Then pay attention to the girls who successfully test the latest machines, develop unique drug formulas, create robots and control fighter jets.

Dear readers, welcome to the blog!

Graduates and Parents! First of all, this article is for you. Now only these questions are important for you: “Where to go to study after grade 11 for a young man the most profitable professions” or “Where to go to study after grade 11 for a girl list of professions”, “Where to go after grade 11?”.

From the publication you will receive invaluable information, Firstly how to choose a promising and in-demand profession, Secondly, about new ways of obtaining modern professions, third how to get a job in your chosen profession.

All information is verified in practice, based on my own experience gained while working in large financial companies, on large IT projects, in Internet projects.

The topic of the article is relevant, because modern children and parents (especially children) increasingly began to wonder whether higher education is necessary in our time for success in life?

Looking ahead, I will say that in our new digital, informational world, alternative and more effective ways of education and getting a profession have appeared. Some of them you may not have heard of.

From the article you will learn:

3. How to get a job in the chosen profession?

Introduction

By the way, in addition to graduates, the article will be of interest to middle and high school students and their parents. Because progressive children already in high school begin not only to think about where they will work in the future, but to try themselves in different professions.

I have an example of such a girl. Her parents have a business selling accessories for phones, and she, having the talent of an artist, makes them design advertising for the company and products. I also know middle and high school kids who do freelance translations from foreign languages, simple design work like business card design, etc. on freelance exchanges.

But, unfortunately, most parents still follow a tradition that is very convenient for the education system, namely: parents send their children along the standard path of obtaining a profession and work - they convince them to graduate from college in order to find a good job. As a result, during their studies for 4-5 years, their children hopelessly lag behind their peers in their careers, who have a more progressive view of gaining knowledge in the profession.

The system of the state in every way supports the stereotype: "You won't find a job without a diploma." Indeed, we know from practice that most employers do not hire without a diploma. Thanks to this, there is a huge machine of secondary and higher education, where in most cases they give hopelessly outdated knowledge that neither the student nor his future employer needs.

But! Recently, many progressive companies have appeared, especially in the field of Internet marketing, IT, design, which select employees by talent, and not by diploma. These are such IT companies with a worldwide reputation as Epam, Luxsoft, Infopulse, Yandex, Google and many others.

If a person has the ability, desire, charisma, then, in the end, the company itself can teach him everything. By the way, most successful companies have a training department. I recommend that modern graduates keep the bar high and focus either on building their own business or on working in the best companies where they value their employees

1. How to choose a promising, demanded, modern profession?

A few years ago, no one knew that specialists with the profession of SMM manager, SEO manager, landing page designer, etc. would be needed. Now, all job search exchanges are full of these vacancies. But how many universities can you name where these professions are taught?

As in any business, in choosing and getting a profession, it is important to use a systematic approach. So that it doesn’t turn out that you spent several years on training, and no one needs this profession anymore or there are too many specialists in this segment on the labor market and it’s impossible to find a job due to great competition.

I give an example. At the end of last summer, I involuntarily overheard two friends talking on the beach. One told the other with joy that her daughter entered the economic institute for banking and that with such a profession she would not be lost in her life. I wanted to cry: this woman had a stereotype that bank employees make good money, although the situation has changed a long time ago. Banking is now going through hard times due to the crisis, banks are bursting like soap bubbles, and there are millions of unclaimed professionals in the labor market!

So, before choosing a profession, you need to analyze:

  • what kind at the moment the most in demand and highly paid professions (see article)
  • what professions are named promising for the coming decades(see article)
  • does the soul lie in this profession and whether your innate abilities correspond to it (see article)

2. Where to get knowledge on the chosen profession?

Of course, fanaticism is equally bad in any of its manifestations. It is foolish to blindly reject the possibility of studying in a higher educational institution. For example, if you dream of becoming a doctor, you are unlikely to be able to even start a private practice without having a higher education diploma. Conclusion: there are professions that can only be mastered at domestic or foreign universities.

Let's move on to the list of alternative education options for new, promising, in-demand professions:

  • Known free online educational platform from the world's leading universities Coursera
  • Educational courses with subsequent employment from well-known employers(mainly in the field of IT)
  • New IT-factory UNIT (Ukraine) for free training of programmers, free IT courses Course.by (Belarus)
  • Specialized courses in new, modern professions(which are not yet taught by universities)
  • Higher education remotely
  • Free educational programs abroad
  • self-education: educational sites, webinars, trainings, master classes

Coursera is a free educational project created by famous Stanford University professors.

If you have not heard about these courses, now you have valuable information in your hands and you have a great advantage compared to your competitors who went to study at universities for 5-6 years. During this time, with the help of Coursera, you will be able to master an order of magnitude more of the latest, modern knowledge for free. Moreover, at a convenient time for you, without leaving your home or sitting in a cafe (there is a Coursera app for Android and iPhone).

Free IT course program course.by was created by 2 students of the university, which supplies personnel to the entire IT industry in Belarus. In this program, you can take free courses on IOS, HTML, WordPress, Web Developer, Rails, as well as lectures for copywriters and SEO specialists.

Specialized courses in modern professions are a great alternative to universities

If you want to quickly start working in one of the new professions, you do not need to study for 5 years and spend a lot of money on training. It is enough to complete good courses, where you will be given the applied knowledge that is needed in this particular profession.

Now there are many courses, both face-to-face and online, on:

  • system administration,
  • web design,
  • programming,
  • testing,
  • marketing and advertising,
  • design,
  • floristry,
  • cosmetology,
  • online bookkeeping
  • and many other professions.

Specialized education abroad, including free educational programs

There is a stereotype that education abroad is only available to children of wealthy parents. But in fact, in many foreign countries, for example, in Germany, Greece, the Czech Republic and other countries, you can get modern quality education for free, including higher education. This topic is large and I will devote a separate article to it.

Self-education: educational sites, trainings, webinars, master classes and even tutors

I think comments are unnecessary. If you want to be smart and successful, work hard (study is hard work). On the Internet, there is information in the public domain on any field of knowledge. You can master it on your own.

It is important to single out the study of languages as a separate sub-item in self-education.

With knowledge of only English, the opportunities for learning are greatly expanded. As you know, the fastest way to learn a foreign language is in an environment where everyone speaks this language. For this purpose, you can use the Work and Travel program. Also, for "immersion" it is important to watch films in the original language, read books, go to communication clubs with native speakers. Languages can be studied remotely in online courses.
