In international educational institutions there are various training courses in the field of science, design, art. To receive a grant, you should first of all choose the country in which you would like to continue your education. After that, make a list of universities offering such programs.

The list of publications, monographs written by members of the team is submitted along with other documents. In addition to the basic data about the participants in the competition, sometimes it is necessary to provide information on the participation rate. This is the responsibility of the team leader. That is, he enters the following into a certain document: "Ivanov - 0.8, Petrov 0.15, Sidorov 0.25, etc." There is also such a thing as an additional grant. This is a subsidy that the winner receives in a competition consisting of several stages.

Free grant for scientific research

It may pay for the rent of the premises and the rent or purchase of equipment, consumables, fees for invited experts, dissemination of information about the project, transportation costs, and expenses for accommodation and meals. A project can be designed to support a single event, or long-term support for research or a system of events. In the latter case, funding is often provided through several grants or other sources.

The grant is given for a short period (months) and involves working with colleagues from other regions, access to the resources of universities and libraries. As a rule, they are issued to students, undergraduates, graduate students, candidates and doctors of sciences who are already working on a research project and are able to justify the need for its funding.

Free grant for scientific research

There are two main types of tax credits - volume and incremental. The volume principle of the discount gives a benefit in proportion to the size of the costs. In this case, at a statutory discount of, say, 25%, the company would be able to deduct $25 from every $100 spent on R&D from its total taxable income. In the Netherlands, the volume discount is not applied to all research and development costs, but only to the labor component, i.e. to the amount of wages of scientists and engineers employed in this field.

  • scientific assessment of each project, ensuring strict control over the use of public funds
  • competition of scientists at the national level, free from local restrictions
  • uniformity of selection and funding criteria
  • national recognition of the merits of each scientist, important for scientific growth

Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated N 633 ON GRANTS OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION TO SUPPORT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH OF YOUNG RUSSIAN SCIENTISTS - DOCTORS OF SCIENCE AND STATE SUPPORT OF THE LEADING SCIENTIFIC SCHOOLS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

3. In 1996, the Ministry of Science and Technical Policy of the Russian Federation should provide funding for grants from the President of the Russian Federation to support the scientific research of young Russian scientists - Doctors of Science in the amount of 6 billion rubles and state support for leading scientific schools of the Russian Federation at the expense of funds provided in the federal budget for fundamental research and promotion of scientific and technological progress under the line "Competitive Fund for Support of Leading Scientific Schools".

1. This Regulation determines the procedure for allocating grants from the President of the Russian Federation to support scientific research of young Russian scientists - Doctors of Science (hereinafter referred to as grants from the President of the Russian Federation) and for the implementation of state support for leading scientific schools of the Russian Federation.

LEGAL STATUS OF THE GRANT UNDER THE LEGISLATION OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

grants are provided for the implementation of specific programs in the field of education, art, culture, public health (directions - AIDS, drug addiction, children's oncology, including oncohematology, children's endocrinology, hepatitis and tuberculosis), protection environment, protection of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation, social services for the poor and socially unprotected categories of citizens, as well as for the conduct of specific scientific research;

The relevant norms of the Civil Code can solve the problems that arise in the distribution of budgetary funds by federal funds for the support of scientific and scientific and technical activities in the form of grant financing of initiative scientific projects. In particular, attempts to apply the legislation on state orders to competitions for the placement of grants, including the new Federal Law of July 21, 2005 No. needs” (effective from January 1, 2006).

Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of November 28, 2013

1. These Rules determine the procedure for granting subsidies (including grants in the form of subsidies) for the purpose of implementing the federal target program "Research and development in priority areas for the development of the scientific and technological complex of Russia for 2020-2020", approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 21 May 2013 N 426 "On the federal target program "Research and development in priority areas of development of the scientific and technological complex of Russia for 2020 - 2020" (hereinafter, respectively - subsidies, the Program).

In their response, representatives of the fund will either ask to send a full detailed application or politely refuse, indicating the reason for the refusal. Sometimes they can also advise where it is better to apply in order to receive a grant for research. If you do not receive a response from the fund, then do not hesitate to remind yourself either by letter or by phone.

State, private and foreign foundations and various charitable and public organizations can act as sponsors. In the West, the development of scientific research is largely based on grant activities. In our country, the grant was introduced at the legislative level in 1993. Although there are differences in the interpretation of the concept of a grant, its meaning remains the same: a targeted, gratuitous and irrevocable subsidy. The amounts of grants vary considerably: they depend both on the financial capabilities of the foundation and on the goals of the projects. It usually ranges from $2,000 to $20,000, but can be higher.

Financial mechanisms for science and technology policy

The share of spending on science in the total amount of budget spending over the past 20 years has been fairly stable: 6-7% in the USA, 4-5% in France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, 3-3.5% in Japan. Defense R&D funding absorbs most state scientific budgets of the USA (55.3% in 1994) 1 , Great Britain (44.5%), France (33.5%). Basic Research non-defensive nature are in first place in Japan (51.2%), Germany (51.4%), Canada (35%) and Italy (46.4%).

Specialists in most countries where tax incentives have been introduced agree on a positive assessment of their results, since they basically ensure the achievement of the goals for which they were introduced. Indirect confirmation of this is the extension of benefits, which were usually introduced as temporary measures.
